Delea is currently training Turf Farm Managers to take the lead in producing premium sod for municipal, residential, commercial, and sports turf markets. If you have experience in turfgrass or a passion to learn, this is a real opportunity to build a career with an Industry leader that is approaching 100 years of success.

 

What you will gain :

• Learn to manage day-to-day operations on the turf farm: planting, mowing, fertilizing, irrigating, and harvesting

• Operate and maintain equipment: tractors, mowers, harvesters, and irrigation systems

• Monitor turf health and soil conditions; implement pest, weed, and disease control strategies

• Maintain inventory, equipment logs, and production records

• Collaborate with sales/logistics teams for harvest and delivery coordination

• Ensure safety and environmental compliance

 

What We are looking For:

• Experience in sod production, golf/sports turf, landscaping, or row crop farming

• Strong mechanical skills – a “hands-on” approach to maintenance

• Leadership mindset – you understand a team approach to crew management

• Turfgrass, Agronomy, or Ag-related education (preferred but not required)

• A "get-it-done" attitude and love for working outdoors

 

What we offer:

• Competitive salary, $ 80,000-$140,000 annually (based upon experience)
