ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT

Hamlet Golf and Country Club is a member of the Invited family, with over 175 clubs across the country. Hamlet is a private 18 hole par 70 golf course. Designed by Steven Kay, golf course architect. Greens built to USGA specification (bent/poa). World class tennis facility with 6 USTA hard courts and 2 hard-tru courts.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Assist Superintendent with day to day operations, which includes but not limited to, supervision of staff, anticipate and execute irrigation needs, fert/chem applications, course set-up.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  Certificate/degree in turf management or related field a plus. Ability to obtain NYS pesticide license. Spanish speaking a plus. Valid drivers license. Strong leadership and organizational skills.

 

 

COMPENSATION:  $85,000 ++ DOE. Health benefits, 401k available, performance bonus, dues paid for local and national associations. Vacation and sick time, lunch provided by club, uniforms, golfing privileges
